Q: The LAN1-4 of H8922S is configured with different network segments. Can communication between these four network segments be possible?
A: Yes. The IP of the lower computer and the configuration of the gateway must correspond. For example, if the LAN1 IP is 192.168.9.x, you need to configure the gateway to 192.168.9.1. It cannot be configured to 192.168.8.1.
Q: Does Hongdian router support custom LAN port communication rate?
A: Yes, both LAN and WAN ports support configuration rate and duplex mode.
Q: Does H8922S support loadbalance?
A: Yes, H8922S supports dual-mode and policy routing based on MAC address. The number of MAC addresses on each link is evenly allocated to realize dynamic load balance. Another way of Loadbalance is that it can support the static specification of policy route to realize the traffic load balance.
Q: How to set the remote log of the router?
A: Need a Log server with remotely reachable IP to run the Syslog tool, fill in the Server ip/port in System-->Remote Log, and you can view the log of the device in the Log server.
Q: How long can the router's Local log view the recent running log?
A: For H89xx routers, the default storage is 80KB, and CLI modification is supported. Local log can save up to 1M in size. When the log capacity exceeds 10M, the previous log will be automatically overwritten.
Q: After the router restarts, can I check the previous log?
A: The device log is stored in RAM. After device is restarted, the log is cleared. To capture logs, you can use remote log feature.All logs can be sent to the remote server synchronously.
Q: How to modify the login address of the routing setting page (192.168.8.1)?
A: Log in to the router configuration interface, enter the Network→LAN page, modify the IP address of IP1 to a new IP address, and then click the save button to use the new IP address for access.
